IMDB rating: 7.40 Plot: Unjustly expelled from Harvard when a stash of cocaine is found in his possession, Matt (Elijah Wood) moves to London to live with his sister and her husband Steve (Marc Warren.) He is quickly introduced to Steve’s chirpy, cock-sure younger brother Pete (Charlie Hunnam.) Initially, Pete is reluctant to get acquainted with Matt and allow him to tread around the capital city with him because he may be seen by others as an ‘outsider’, but after a heavy drinking session with him and his mates he quickly changes his opinion of him. On the way back from a football match, Matt is viciously accosted by a gang of Birmingham City thugs, until Pete and his friends step in and save him. It is from here that Matt learns the truth about Pete and his friends- they are football hooligans, operating the GSE (Green Street Elite) ‘firm.’ Initially afraid of the violence, Matt soon ends up becoming as desensitized to it as his new found friends- but as events roll on, suspicion, shocking revelations and unsettled scores combine to a devastating climax where London’s most fierce football rivals- Millwall and West Ham United- are set to go head to head. |

No ASEAN Membership for Cambodia & Myanmar?

If you happen to know any Cambodians or Burmese, please tell
them the truth about the atrocities of their governments. If I’m the
chairman of ASEAN, I’ll strip their memberships off ASEAN and
APEC with immediate effect, on support of humanitarian grounds.
Cambodian PM Hu Sen was implicated in corruption related to
the country’s oil wealth and mineral resources in Global Witness
2009 report. He and his close associates were accused of carrying
out secret negotiations with private parties and taking money from
those whom he would grant rights to exploit the resources. In 1979
he defected from the notorious Khmer Rouge to Vietnam without
disclosing clearly his role in the cruel regime. Moreover, he led a
bloody coup in 1997 which ousted ex-Prince Norodom Ranariddh
and killed a number of civillians. To add on, he even offered the
corrupted ex-Thai PM Thaksin Shinawatra a post as economic
adviser in Cambodia. What a shameless hooligan he is!
As for the Myanmar government, I don’t have to elaborate much
on their atrocities which are well known notorious over the whole
world… Another shameless regime around…

On 23 October 2009, the Heads of State/Government of ASEAN presided over the Inaugural Ceremony of the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR), during which they also announced the
