IMDB rating: 5.60 Plot: During a sanitarium transfer, Michael Myers murders his hospital escorts and brutally murders the staff of a gas station. Dr Loomis hears of the incident, and he is confident that Myers is planning to return to Haddonfield to kill his niece. He confronts Michael in the empty gas station, but he escapes. When Loomis finally arrives in Haddonfield, the sun is down and the children have begun trick or treating. He warns the police, and they, in turn, order the entire town into a state of curfew as they hunt for Myers. A group of rednecks leaded by a man named “Earl” attempt to capture Myers for themselves. As this happens, the entire town of Haddonfield falls into a state of darkness as a blackout occurs. Can they wit stand the devil in human form? |

believe me there are spoilers here and the film will be wasted if u haven’t seen it, this is your only opportunity to look away, i will not be held responsible for wasting it this is 4 those who have seen it.
everyone is harping on about this new halloween movie but they are completely missing the point and it probably wont be long before rob zombie feels the need to speak out and guide people through the storyline in makatron.
Michael myers does not escape and return to haddonfield to kill his sister, there i said it i feel better, his sister is the only person he feels any connection with and in his own twisted way she is the only one he wants to be with, he kills her adopted parents because they are in the way he kills lynda and ?kills? annie because they are impure he wears the mask because he thinks (again remember he is psychotic) that laurie will know who he is. until she stabs him he makes no attempt to kill her he just wants to show her his handiwork
My question is ‘is it only me’? obviously your failure to see this just strengthens my point about people needing to be spoon-fed information rather than using their brains to work it out. i am asking if anyone else has seen the movie and shares my opinion on the premise rather than following the assumptions of haggard cynical reviewers.
Jeez louise some people can be overly touchy, McLevin if u get where im coming from then i dont consider u one of the haggard ones so rest easy dude there seems to be fewer of us around. btw i also thought that 1408 Sucked. and that is not a question just a pure driven fact.
I’m glad you said that…I got that impression as well, and it’s one of the things that makes "Halloween" so interesting.
However, I would not consider myself a "haggard cynical reviewer." Some of us do get it.

Yea, I got it and I still thought that movie sucked. The original was way better in story and direction.
