Murder or just normal medical treatment? Stroke false records lorazepam kabiven DNR pneumonia death?
Female 83yrs old Patient suffers cerrebellum stroke survives well difficulty walking and poor short term memory but 3 weeks later (after many hallucinations looking like on morphine but drug never mentioned in notes) then declines into virtual coma with (at time) undiagnosed pneumonia. DNR placed on patient (unknown to relatives or patient). Lorazepam given to sedate for ct scan (falsified record made about CT scan found later never to have occured). Patient several hours later nearly dies of respiratory arrest but is saved by night staff. Relatives then told xray done diagnosis pneumonia and patient given antibiotics with some IV fluids and saline. (Relatives told nil by mouth due to anal bleeding which relatives not told due to simple anal fissure). Last day 1 week later very weak as still nil by mouth with some pneumonia remaining. Given Kabiven by IV on last day. Anal Bleeding has stopped so patient relatives shown nasal tube as can be fed that route.Xray taken.Patient returned from xray, relatives told feeding tube removed by patient (impossible as patient so weak). Patient develops rapid breathing for at least 3 hours and told nothing else can be done just oxygen. Ventilator not offered (Relatives/patient still unaware of DNR). Patient dies.DNR was signed by consultant in charge of dept, who signed death certificate, who approved records before allowing me to see them. Normal medical treatment or murder?

If I were you ,I would seek an attorney for malpractice suites…this does not sound like its on the up and up. So many medical facilities, doctors, nurses figure this person was 83 lived a good life so let them go….which I think is horrible.I really would seek advice, most attorneys will not charge you unless they think you have a case and then its on a contingency as to whether you win or not..I sure this helps and good luck to you. Also this does not sound like normal proceedure.

pt may have had a DNR /advanced directives in MD’s office, should have had copy in chart. Many times relatives can’t remember what’s been said to whom. Usually, there is one person that relays info from the docs. Her survivability was poor with the stoke and pneumonia and certainly her quality of life what was left of it was poor, also. Unless you are a relative you have no legal say in this case. Nasal tubes can slowly come out on their own and with a simple tug. no big deal. worst case is if tube feeding gets into the airway/lungs. She was already in the final stages dying, by your description of her breathing pattern. This was not murder, but could have been handled differently and more humanely or more comfortable. When an older relative dies, there are a lot of guilt, favorites and money and possessions involved. They are highly charged emotional states and divide families for years…..

Help me figure out the name of a favourite childhood movie?
I used to watch this movie when I was younger but I can’t recall the title or the actors.. I’ve been trying to track it down since my Mom passed away a number of years ago as I know she would remember the title but I just can’t seem to figure it out. Every St.Patrick’s Day I try and try but always in vain.
It’s an Irish story and all I can find that’s similar is Darby O’Gill and The Little People. But it’s not that movie, although that one is really good. It’s more recent than that.
All I can remember is that here was parents and a little girl (possibly a little boy) and her/their grandfather. The grandfather gets in trouble with the fairies and leprechauns that lived up on the mountain in their town, possibly for trying to trick them into giving him their gold. So either the banshee or the fairies came after them and I think captures the little girl and possibly her brother?
I’m pretty sure the it’s the maternal grandfather, and I remember one scene in which the little girl is being tested to name Monet paintings by her mother.

If anyone has any idea at all as to what movie this could be I’d really appreciate the help!

Maybe this will help:

Need to find a great (and pretty inexpensive) little black dress.?
I need to find a little great little black dress to wear on an upcoming date, and just to have in general since thats one wardrobe staple i’m somehow missing.

I’m 21 so i need to find something age appropriate, and around maybe $50.

The parts I would most like to play up are my legs and chest- i’m fine with high hems and deep v’s.
The things i’d like to downplay is my stomach and arms (but the arms can always be covered by a jacket/cardigan…)

Thanks so much!

If you’re looking for something cheap and fast, look at Forever21. Their new spring stuff is pretty cute and they definitely have LBDs for as little as $15.

In a hotel suite overlooking the Sunset Strip, a man is being water boarded by a private detective. The information he needs is: “Who killed Babyface?” When the man refuses to cooperate and shows nothing but contempt for his captor, the torture continues. Are North American societies more insecure nowadays? Do we no longer believe in "absolute evils?"?
All I have is speculation. I haven’t been around in this life for a very long time so I’m just wondering about some stuff. I went to my doctor a couple of weeks back and he’s a pretty old guy and I couldn’t help but wonder about the lifetime he lived in. I don’t want to sound rude or accuse him of being inept of his job (he seemed to be an old jolly, englishman), but he seemed kind of "out of touch" with modern times and youth-related problems. I mean, he sort of assessed me solely on physical examination to determine that I was "perfectly fine" and it was almost like he was implying that as long as you can walk and breathe, you’re fine. I mean, there was nothing I mean, there was nothing wrong with me and I was glad for that, but I just thought that was kind of dumb way to assess individuals. It was almost like he was insinuating that most kids my age don

Lean on Me
Lean on Me (1989)

IMDB rating: 7.10

Plot: An extraordinary situation calls for an extraordinary solution. At strife-torn Eastside High School in Paterson, New Jersey, that solution had a name: Principal “Crazy Joe” Clark. With a bullhorn in one hand and a baseball bat in the other, he slammed the door on losers at Eastside. Brought in as a last resort to stop the state government from taking control of the school, Clark chained the doors shut to keep troublemakers OUT and achievers IN. Parents fought him. Teachers resented him. Even his own boss doubted him. But lots of kids loved him. Clark turned Eastside around, appearing on the cover of “Time Magazine” and becoming a national symbol of tough-love education. “If you don’t succeed in life,” Clark tells his students, “don’t blame your backgrounds. Don’t blame the Establishment. Blame YOURSELVES.” His message is simple: Don’t lean on excuses, drugs, crime, or anger. LEAN ON ME…and learn.

so the basic story is that when we first got to know each other he was kind of a jerk and then when we started talking and my friends made friends with his then we would talk more – not all the time but more. Then this guy said something mean to me and he totally had my back and yet it was his friend. Hes walked me to the train station once and waited with me till he had to go and i catch him staring at me all the time and when i look at him he doesnt even look away. This one time he fell out with my friend and all he seemed bothered about was if i was mad at him. He leans on me instead of our friends and he offers for me to use his phone if i ever need it. Urmm what else:- oh yeh! i was sittin on the edge of a bench this one time and he pretended to push me off before saying that he never to that to me emphasysing the never part. He’s smacked my butt twice – but then so has his best friend. I caught him staring at me the last time i was on a ride at a fair. and oh wow he’s just insanely yummy and i dont know what to do but ever since we’ve met it seems like i just keep trying to push myself away from him and think of his flaws. According to the officers heading the project, too many times the talents and expensive training of the best pilots and soldiers go to waste during times of peace. So they enlist Bauers (Wilson), the most under-achieving average guy they’ve got, to be the test subject for the initial hibernation experiment. Also participating in the top-secret program is Rita (Rudolph), a prostitute who agreed to take part in exchange for dropping some criminal charges against her, among other things. Of course, the experiment, which was to last only a year, goes under due to the arrest of Officer Collins, who is busted for heading a prostitution ring. Seeing as though he was in charge of the experiment, one of the only ones who knew of its existence, and “due to a lot of top-secret red tape… and the massive scandals and base closure that followed, Joe and Rita were forgotten about.

I do…unfortunately. We get dumber as a species every year, it seems.

I don’t. My reason for this is the Flynn Effect. Over the generations IQ increases. A person who sat an iq test in the 50s would have a smaller score compared to a person, the same age, taking the test today. People process much more information as they have in the past. Technology also increasing the information available. Another important factor is that education is becoming available for poor people across the world.
The film is funny but i

8. Jaws: The Revenge (1987)
7. Gigli (2003)
6. From Justin to Kelly (2003)

Funny.
But be nice to Son of the Mask, the movie is unbearable, but I love Traylor Howard! You could’ve picked one with nobody good in it – there’s no shortage. I’m gonna miss Monk, and I used to love Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place, too.
If I were making the list, I’d switch out Son of the Mask for Glitter, Showgirls, or Battlefield Earth.
